Channel One (Russian: Первый Канал; Russian pronunciation: [ˈpʲɛrvɨj kɐˈnɑl], virtually 1st Channel) is that the 1st TV channel to broadcast within the land. The channel replaced channel "Ostankino" that broadcast once The land stony-broke up in 1991 as a successor to the primary Channel of the central tv of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.
